Empowering Youth Leadership
Step Up Youth Initiative is proud to partner with Youth Advocates Ghana (YAG), a leading organization championing youth participation in achieving the SDGs. Together, we play a pivotal role in shaping the African Youth SDGs Summit, a powerful platform for young leaders across the continent.
A Collaborative Journey
Our partnership with YAG began at the summit’s inception in Ghana. We’ve been actively involved in the steering committee for all five editions, from the inaugural summit to its recent success in Zambia. This ongoing collaboration ensures the summit continues to be a space for young people to:
- Share Ideas & Solutions: The summit fosters dialogue and exchange of ideas on how young people can contribute to achieving the SDGs.
- Shape Policy & Action: Young leaders have a platform to influence policy and advocate for action on critical issues facing Africa.
- Build Connections: The summit facilitates networking opportunities, allowing young leaders to connect, collaborate, and build a stronger movement for change.
