The Step Up Youth Initiative proudly utilizes the Obuntu Knowledge Model, a unique framework rooted in the Ugandan philosophy of Obuntubulamu (humanity towards others). Obuntubulamu emphasizes values like empathy (okukufa ku munno) and responsibility (obuvunnanyizibwa), fostering a strong moral compass in young people. Through the Obuntu lens, young people develop essential skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and collaboration.

Addressing Community Challenges:

This framework guides us in assessing community needs and tailoring services to address critical challenges like poverty, inequality, and climate change, which are the core focus areas for Step Up Youth Initiative. By integrating Obuntubulamu principles, we empower young people to become responsible and compassionate leaders who can effectively tackle these issues and shape a brighter future for their communities.
